No small beer
The southern African country of Botswana has a new law that will see beer prices increase by 70%! The new president wants to come against the rising use of alcohol and sees beer as one of the evils in society, causing many problems in the country. Beer drinkers are unsurprisingly unhappy though and think that the rise is just too much to stomach. But the president warns that prices will go up again if there isn’t an improvement in people’s behaviour!
