See saw surge

A young inventor from the UK hopes that he can make the most of children’s energy at playtime to power schools in Africa. The Design student has created a special see-saw which generates enough electricity to light a classroom for an afternoon if children play on it for just ten minutes! Many schools in African countries do not have an electricity supply and so such a device would help schools to offer more to their pupils.
